Saraab Episode-7 Review: Asfand rescues Hooriya from Dargah
The HUM TV drama series Saraab is a play that revolves around a mentally ill patient suffering from an advanced stage of schizophrenia. The story shows how miserable his life is and how his lover is trying to solve his problem and trying to help him get out of it. The performance of Sonya Hussyn and Sami Khan is very impressive. However, some members of the supporting cast seem to have a short performance.
Asfand is the only person who has realized that Hooriya has a psychotic problem and going to Peers and Darghas is not the solution. He has also realized the dangers and risks that Hooriya could face when going to places like Dargah, so he has made the decision to rescue Hooriya from that place. He asks his father for help, who stops him from this action, later, in the middle of the night, Asfand sneaks out of the house and goes to Dargah to help Hooriya.
One of the scariest scenes is when Hooriya also has hallucinations in the Dargah, she sees that Asfand comes to help her and asks her to flee from this place. She. In the middle of the night she leaves the room alone in the sanctuary and there a man who finds her alone tries to attack her but Hooriya escapes and while running she meets the real Asfand. Asfand has realized the dangerous situation Hooriya is in. He rescues her from that place.
The next day, when Hooriya's mother can't find her anywhere, she and her husband start looking for her. Hooriya has left without informing her parents. Hooriya is on the road with Asfand and her friend all night. Asfand's parents are so angry and embarrassed by their son's act. Hooriya tells Asfand that she doesn't want to go home, that she wants to live with him here in this place.
Asfand's parents inform Warda about Asfand's act. They are very embarrassed but Warda misbehaves with them and asks them to leave the house. She is like her very rude and mean mother. Hooriya is a little scared by the incident last night, she doesn't let Asfa and leave her even for a few moments. Hooriya is also a bit paranoid, the way she feels that Asfand's friend is laughing at her indicates that paranoia is a symptom of having a serious mental illness. Will Asfand be able to help Hooriya with her treatment and will Hooriya's parents accept her after this?
